What our clients have to say about their experience with us …

Your staff is wonderful, improvements are amazing

I’m so glad I have a WONDERFUL place for Apollo to meet friends, play & exercise (and he really needs it since he lives to eat). Your staff is wonderful & all the improvements you’ve done to the facility have been amazing. ~ Miriam

Doggy daycare has helped him with his socialization

julius and belle
Julius has been attending doggy daycare at A Dog's Best Friend since he was six months old. What a blessing ADBF has been. Despite his size, Julius is a big baby who is afraid of his own shadow. Doggy daycare has helped him with his socialization, not just with dogs but with people too. He absolutely loves to go to daycare, and comes home happily exhausted. Some of his most favorite people in the world are the girls who work at A Dog's Best Friend. We've also enjoyed the benefits of being able to have his grooming done on a daycare day, saving us a separate trip to the groomer on the weekend. Years ago we had two Great Danes who went to the same daycare locations under the previous ownership. We have been really pleased with the changes and upgrades of the new ownership and management staff. Their attention to detail and the improvements they've made to the facilities are wonderful, and much appreciated. We feel very fortunate to have A Dog's Best Friend. ~ The Kendrick family

I don’t know what I would do without A Dog’s Best Friend

My four-year old Cockapoo, Alfie, has been going to a A Dog's Best Friend since he was six months old. He loves it. After being stuck in the house with Mom & Dad all weekend he has so much excess energy that he runs through the house barking at every sound. All I have to say is "Want to go to school," and he's at the door waiting for me. When he comes home from spending the day running with his friends, he is calm and tired ... laying next to me for the entire evening. I do some of Alfie's grooming myself to keep him trimmed up, but when his hair gets out of control or I want him to look good, I have their groomer take care of him. She is wonderful and they make it so easy. I drop him off at the usual time in the morning and when I pick him up at the usual time he looks like a show dog. I don't know what I would do without ADBF. They love Alfie almost as much as I do. I never worry about him when he is there. I thank you all very truly. ~ Margi Lane

Doggie Daycare has made Lester a well-adjusted little doggy

Lester is a four-year old cocker spaniel. I adopted him when he was a year old. He'd never been out of a crate and had no social skills with people or dogs. To say he was difficult is an understatement. He started attending doggy daycare at A Dog's Best Friend when he was about two years old. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. They've respected him, allowed him to grow and get comfortable with the staff and other dogs on his terms. They recognize his fears, know his personality, and treat (and train) him as the individual he is. Today, he's a friendly, well-adjusted little doggy. About a year ago I started having them groom him as well... Patience is an understatement to describe their grooming practice. Anne takes all of the time in the world to make it the best experience that's possible. He's responding by making it easier on both of them :-). I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you ADBF, you are all truly remarkable. ~ Ruth

A perfect job on grooming Riley

A perfect job on grooming Riley (Golden Retriever) last Wednesday at the West side. I was kind of vague on the amount of coat to remove, but your groomer did the perfect length. Thank you to her!

Both dogs (Abbey, Bernese Mtn. Dog had a bath) are soft, sweet-smelling and shiny! Now we just hope they can stay that way for awhile... :-)

Everyone is doing a great job there. ~ Kelly O'Neill

You guys took good care of him!

Thank you for the wonderful haircut on my Scottie dog today! He seemed like he was well taken care of. He was very confident when I picked him up, which shows to me, that you guys took good care of him! :-) I look forward to bringing him back again and asking for you specifically. Thank you again Shayla! ~ Linda

We love that Max isn’t stuck in a kennel and gets to spend his day playing

Max has been boarding at A Dogs Best Friend since he was a puppy. We travel a lot for business, so ADBF is truly his home away from home. In fact, nothing make him happier than the words “doggy daycare.” And don’t think we’re not the slightest bit jealous when we see the disappointment in his eyes when we pick him up. We love the fact that Max isn’t stuck in a kennel and gets to spend his day playing with other dogs. We highly recommend A Dogs Best Friend for both short and long term stays. ~ David and Julie Weiss

A Dog’s Best Friend has been a godsend

Koa and Ginger
A Dog's Best Friend has been a godsend to us for not only providing us with a great way to keep our dogs active and socialized while we are at work, but also because they brought us our sweet boy, Koa. We first adopted Ginger in December 2012 and wanted a way to keep our sometimes scared and shy girl comfortable around other dogs. ADBF brought her out of her shell and also introduced her to Koa, who was a foster dog with ADBF at the time. When we heard Ginger had a good buddy that oddly enough looked a lot like her, we knew we had to meet him. ADBF allowed us to foster Koa and then adopt him into our family. We are so grateful for Jaime and all of the girls at ADBF and how well they treat our dogs. We feel like ADBF is part of an extended family that loves and cares for them like we do. ~ Becky
